Breathe Deep

Deep-breathing exercises can help you relax, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, aid circulation and help release toxins from the body.  Deep-breathing involves relaxing your abdomen so that your diaphragm pushes down farther and allows more air into your lungs.  To get started, find a comfortable position.  It's easiest to begin by exhaling until you can't anymore.  A deep breath in will naturally follow.  Inhale through your nose for a count of four, expanding your abdomen.  Hold the air in for a few seconds, then exhale to a count of four through your mouth.  Pause and repeat this exercise for 1-2 minutes.
